Turning a preventive health concept into a product people trust with their bodies.

My role: Lead PM · 0 to 1 · Preventive Healthcare · Switzerland

Aeon had a clear ambition: give people access to full-body MRI scans and bloodwork analysis before they get sick, not after. The product didn't exist yet. I led end-to-end discovery, ran user interviews with early patients and medical staff, and worked to understand what it actually takes for someone to trust a healthcare product they've never heard of. I defined the core product architecture, drove delivery from concept to launch, and tracked performance through the first three months of operation. Within three months the product had surfaced 20+ significant health findings in real users, some of them life-altering.

Using hypothesis-driven analytics to rethink how a pharmacy app earns attention without losing trust.

My role: Lead PM · Engagement strategy · eCommerce · Germany

RedCare had a full set of promotional placements in their app: banners, sliders, campaign surfaces. Nobody had done a rigorous assessment of whether they were doing what they were supposed to do. I mapped assumptions, identified the riskiest ones, and set up experiments to test them. Some placements were performing. Others were taking up space without earning it. The findings shaped a strategic plan and fed directly into a marketing automation platform migration, informing which placement behaviors needed to be rebuilt, adapted, or cut in the new system.

Funnel

Helping homeowners figure out which product fits their situation, before they talk to anyone.

My role: Lead PM · Conversion strategy · Real estate · Germany

Vobahome offers several real estate monetization products for homeowners 60+: partial sale, sale-and-leaseback, equity release, and others. None of these are easy to understand, and users arriving at the site had no way to figure out which applied to them. That uncertainty was killing lead quality. I identified the real issue: the funnel was generating volume, not fit. I redesigned the acquisition flow around a guided questionnaire that matches users to the right product based on their situation. At the end, they see which products fit and why the others don't. Leads land in Salesforce with context, not just contact details.

What people say about me

Andrew Martinez-Fonts

Product leader; former eBay, Yelp, Contentful, Honeysales

I had the pleasure of working with Maxime as his mentor while he was enrolled in Product Academy's LevelUp program. At the time, Maxime was in the thick of finding product-market fit for alocalo, and I was impressed by his tenacity and commitment to the opportunity that he had found in the market. As a founder, he was wearing many hats at the time: customer research, design, product management, not to mention general management and fundraising. He handled it all with poise and humility, and I would love to work with someone like Maxime again in the future.

Tanja Lau

Founder of Product Academy

Maxime was enrolled in our Product Academy mentoring program and I had the pleasure to review his work and experience his valuable contributions in class first-hand in sessions like Hypothesis-driven Product Management, Product Discovery, Stakeholder Management, Strategy and more. He combines an entrepreneurial mindset with a holistic product view and tops it off with exceptional empathy, strong personal values, proactive and reliable communication as well as humble leadership.

Yassine Gabsi

Senior Frontend Engineer at Deepset

I'm truly grateful to have worked alongside you. Your exceptional management (and design) skills have consistently shone through, and your unwavering support for the team has made a remarkable impact. Through challenging moments and tight deadlines, your dedication, commitment, and strong sense of ownership have been truly inspiring.

Loay Awad

Software Engineer II at Handshake

Maxime is exceptional on both technical and personal levels. His product management skills are outstanding. What sets Maxime apart is his ability to balance his own vision with inputs from other team members, swiftly incorporating the best ideas to steer the product in the right direction. He possesses a natural leadership mindset and an excellent grasp of product strategy. Maxime is proactive and an excellent communicator, even while juggling multiple responsibilities, and he consistently delivers within tight deadlines. I would love to work with Maxime again!

How I work

I

I understand before I plan.

When I land on a new project, I go wide before I go deep. Industry patterns, user pain points, technical architecture, third-party dependencies. I read the codebase, draw diagrams for myself, and map what influences what. Only once I have a solid picture of the full system do I touch the product scope. Skipping that step is where most problems start.

II

I treat assumptions as risks, not as a starting point.

Before recommending anything, I map what we think we know versus what we've actually validated. The most dangerous assumptions are the ones nobody has named yet. I identify those early, design ways to test them cheaply, and use what I find to shape the scope. Sometimes the brief changes. That's not a problem, that's the work doing what it's supposed to do.

III

Good product work feels like something the user has never had before.

The products I'm proudest of aren't always the ones with the best numbers. They're the ones where a user encounters something that genuinely helps them in a way nothing else did. When that happens, you usually don't have to chase the metrics. They follow.

Product Intelligence Atlas

Applied thinking on product and AI, from someone doing the work.

I started the Atlas as a place to put things I didn't want to lose. Notes from courses, prompts that actually worked, observations from client work that felt worth writing down. It grew from there. Now it's where I think through AI and product management in public: what I'm learning, what I'm building, what I think is worth paying attention to.
